Breakfast & After School Club
Breakfast Club (7.45 - 8.30am)
Our school Breakfast Club is available from Monday–Friday, throughout the week during term time.
The cost of Breakfast Club is £2 per session.
If you require a place at our Breakfast Club, please contact the school office.
School provides breakfast, so pupils should not bring their own food in for breakfast club.
Children should not arrive before 7:45am, as there is no supervision available prior to this time. If your child attends breakfast club, parents must accompany them into school and sign them in. Children should not be dropped off outside the school grounds or in the car park area to make their own way inside. While we understand that many parents are managing busy work commitments, these procedures are essential to ensure the safety of all pupils. Please be aware that failure to follow them may unfortunately result in your child’s breakfast club place being withdrawn.
After School Club (3.30 - 5.20pm)
*PLEASE NOTE: There will be no after school club on the last day of each term (Christmas, Easter and Summer).
To support our working parents, we will continue to subsidise our after-school provision and offer this service to parents at a very competitive price. We offer a range of activities at after school club: arts and crafts, computing, cooking, darts, gardening, outdoor play, sports and movie nights.

Our after-school provision will be available for working parents only and will run each day during term time* at a cost of £3 per hour or £4 for the full stay per pupil.
All payments must be made on time, as failure to do so will result in your child not being able to access this service.
Could parents also ensure your child is picked up on time as failure to do so will incur additional costs and could also result in your child not being able to access this service.
We have a number of pupils who attend our after-school club provision, and to support our safeguarding procedures, we ask that all sessions are pre-booked by the Friday of the previous week. Bookings can be made through the school office. For safeguarding reasons, staff are unable to release a child to anyone who is not listed on their contact form, does not know the agreed password, or is under 16 years of age.
Children must be collected from inside the school building from a member of staff. Pupils will not be sent out to the car park area or meet parents outside. Please note that failure to follow these procedures may unfortunately result in your child’s place at our after-school club being withdrawn.
Do you require additional child care, support or further information?
There are various government schemes that may help families meet the cost of childcare. Click here to access information from Together for Children Sunderland.
Payments
All cash payments should be in envelopes clearly marked with your child’s name, class and the days you require either Breakfast Club or After School Club provision. Children should not be bringing money into school on a daily basis to pay for these provisions. Payments can be left at the school office or can be sent into school with a child (please make sure the child is aware that they have an envelope with them to ensure it is handed in at the correct time – teachers will not look in book bags for payments).
