Year 6 Reception Buddies

Year 6 Reception Buddies have a special role in supporting and caring for our youngest pupils. Every Year 6 pupil is paired with a Reception buddy, who we support and nurture throughout the year.

We model our school values to them and help teach our buddies how to behave well in school.

We enjoy spending special days with them, such as picnics, school lunches and other organised events. We really enjoy spending time with the youngest pupils and we take great pride in being positive role models, helping them feel happy, safe and confident at school.
