Head Pupils & Deputies

Head Boy and Head Girl and their deputies have an important leadership role within our school.

We support the headteacher and senior leaders during important events and help make sure everything runs smoothly.

One of our key responsibilities is showing visitors around the school and making them feel welcome.

As Head Boy and Head Girl, we also chair our School Council meetings and use our democratic position to share ideas and help to improve our school, including suggesting new learning resources and equipment. This is a very important role, and we are proud that we are able to represent such a fabulous school and to be positive role models for all pupils.

House Captains and Vice Captains

As Year 6 House Captains and Vice Captains we have an important role in promoting teamwork and school spirit. When pupils work hard or behave well in school, they can earn house points for their team.

We have six houses in school:

  • Alnwick
  • Bamburgh
  •  Barnard
  • Hylton
  • Lumley
  • Warkworth

As House Captains and Vice Captains, we make sure that we collect all the house point totals from across the school every week. We also help with whole-school events where house points play an important role.

Part of our job is to promote our chosen House and to encourage all pupils to try their hardest to earn as many house points as they can.

All house point totals are displayed on our house point board in the school hall so everyone can see how their House is doing.
