Writing Assessment
Teachers use the documents below to assess writing. These are Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and list the required elements to be evidenced in the child's writing across the autumn, spring and summer terms. Additional 'Greater Depth Standard' features are also listed.
For those children currently working below the expected level for their year group, teachers will assess the children's writing against their year group KPIs as well as the corresponding KPI sheet for where the child has currently been assessed as working at. See below.
